The question at the beginning was, "what do I do during summer now that it is longer?" Well, I spent my two month summer vacation over Cebu. Here is what happened.
The purpose of my trip to Cebu was to work. I wanted to get an internship (and maybe earn some cash) so that I won't waste my summer just being a bum. I stayed over my 2chiak's (little bro of my daddy) place, together with my auntie and their 4 kids; three of their kids are triplets (2 boys, 1 girl).
I spent my first week getting to know my 2chiak's hardware business; starting with learning about inventory check, sales report, marketing strategies, delivery and collection. I even got to be a cashier for a short time over his gas station business. It was super tiring especially going to places with a VERY hot weather, but I was able to visit and see the beauty of Cebu during work days.
After the work week, my supposedly "work" purpose in Cebu ended; it was pure vacation afterwards. I spent most of the time going with my little cousins to their swimming and art classes and of course EATING! I think i gained a lot of pounds already because the food here is great! Aside from that, I have been learning Bisaya words through the help of my relatives here and some of my friends. I learned a few words thanks to them and is able to understand a little bit. Although I cannot fluently speak and understand, I was able to comprehend a bit of the context when people were having a conversation.
When I spent almost a month already in Cebu, we went to Dumaguete, Siquijor, and Oslob. This was the time I visited three places in one week! In Dumaguete, we stayed at a very fancy place. What I like best about Dumaguete besides their silvannas and sans rival is the Pulangbato Falls. The falls got its name due to the reddish color the rocks naturally produce because of the sulfur.

In Siquijor, we visited the helper of my cousins who worked for their family when my auntie was young. Now that's long. Aside from that, I got to see the San Isidro Church and Musuem and a Balete Tree, where I got to experience my first ever fish spa. The fish spa was so ticklish because the fishes literally go in between your toes and eat the dead skin. I hope that my dead skin made them full.
Lastly, in Oslob, I got to see the butanding, or whale sharks. I was so scared because they were huge and their mouth opened really wide. I was afraid that they would eat me alive, but the authorities ensured us that they sharks only eat plankton. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to go back to these place again.

Aside from vacation trips, I got to hangout with my FCCY friends from Cebu. I joined their Sunday choir at Sacred Heart Parish, had dinner at Amy's Lunchbox and ate a delicious brownie cup at La Maria's, and went tour around downtown wherein we visited churches and museums. I'm glad I was able to see them throughout my stay here in Cebu.

Of course, everything comes to an end. I needed to go back home: to Manila. To be honest, I didn't want to go return home because it would be back to reality. I would have to start being serious again for my studies. In fact, my flight home was 12AM on a Monday, the start of school. (Great!) However, I do believe that the reason that i didn't want to come back home is because I would be missing my little cousins. I never gotten to experience being with kids when I grew up, so the experience was phenomenal. I wish I could stay, but I must come back home.
